Retreats

IMG_0663_edited.jpg

In order to facilitate a strong start to the school year, the Grade 6, 7, and 9 students each go on an overnight retreat to local camps. It serves as an introduction to the new grade teachers, as well as an opportunity to reconnect with peers. These educational experiences include team building, various outdoor activities, and a Christian focus.

Our Grade 8 students have the opportunity to spend a week at Camp Homewood on Quadra Island in British Columbia. During this time, they will participate in both land and water activities as they discover nature together.

In Grade 9, the pinnacle experience is our Mission Trip where our students help build homes for those in need.

Every year, we also have an annual ski trip to Fernie, BC, where our Grade 8 & 9 students get to hit the slopes, and gather together for evenings of worship and chapel.
