RETREATS

IMG_0171.HEIC

To facilitate a strong start to the school year, Grade 6, 7, and 9 students each participate in an overnight retreat at local camps. This serves as an introduction to the new grade teachers and an opportunity for students to reconnect with their peers. The retreat includes educational experiences such as team-building activities, various outdoor pursuits, and a Christian focus.

Our Grade 8 students have the opportunity to spend a week at Camp Homewood on Quadra Island in British Columbia. During this time, they will participate in both land and water activities as they discover nature together.

In Grade 9, the pinnacle experience is our Mission Trip where our students help build homes for those in need.

Every year, we also have annual ski trips. The Grade 6 & 7s head on a day trip to Nakiska. The Grade 8 & 9 students head to Fernie, BC, for an overnight trip and gather together for evenings of worship and chapel.
