At GCA, alongside academics, we value “arts” and “athletics” each as a medium to build within our students a sense of self-worth, while supporting each one to discover his/her God-given gifts.

Regular chapels and assembly performances in our theatre help the students learn valuable public speaking skills, and gain confidence in front of an audience.

Our extra-curricular Choristers program is available to students in Grades 2 to 5, and our extensive Christmas production includes all of our Elementary students.

Physical education is introduced right at the start of their time at GCA, with a focus on building confidence and teaching fundamental sports and fitness skills in order to inspire life-long activity.  Our Royals' Epic Intramurals League runs through the year for Grade 4 and 5 students, with a focus on soccer, floor hockey and basketball.

Theme Days help to spark playful imagination, and regular field trips allow our students to learn about the world directly from the source.

Our Grade 5 students have a unique opportunity to mentor the younger grades in our Peer Leadership program, as well as the opportunity to participate in AMA Patrols. These leadership programs help prepare them for further mentoring opportunities in Junior High.
